Home » Site News » The "hitching" or "Stuttering" problem occurs when the HD is hit for more texture data.

Hi,

I guess the general concensus is that, in Lord of the Rings Online, the "hitching" or "Stuttering" problem occurs when the HD is hit for more texture data. After doing all the typical stuff Microsoft says to optimize my hard drive would turning on Large System Cache help this since the texture files are so large? Keep in mind I have 4 gigs of ram and 1 gig ot texture memory on my video card. Also I have an ATI HD 4670 Video card and heard that there can be issues with those and large System Cache. Not sure if they worked that out.

Thanks for any info from you fellow gamers!
