I don't know when this started, but it is becoming more of a problem for me.
It seems that when I tab a mob, the red ring under his feet starts out transparent, and then gets more red over time. This is a big problem when there are multiple, same or similarly named, mobs in the area and I need to know for certain which one I am about to pull. I try actually clicking on the mob itself and it seems the click radius for all things (mobs, npcs, and other characters) is a little wonky. It takes multiple clicks in the area and I'm never certain I have the right one selected until the feet ring shows up.
The end result is that I don't know which mob to hit (safely) until too much time has passed. Mezzes aren't going off fast enough on LM, DPS is withheld on hunter, fears are prolonged on mini, etc.
Is there a setting in the UI that can help with this? I want to say it happened around SoM or one of the book updates before it. I used to get bright red rings at tabbing and now it takes me precious seconds during combat before I know for sure who I have targeted.
